ADVERTISING, COMMUNICATIONS
The Fresh Ideas Group, a Boulder public relations firm, hired Heidi Hattenbach as account manager, and Jennifer Marshall and Tiffany Gattaso as account coordinators.
Barry Curtiss-Lusher was named chairman and Ron Cooper was named vice chairman of the board of directors for Colorado Public Radio in Denver. Curtiss-Lusher is a principal of McKenzie Curtiss-Lusher & Associates LLC, Denver; and Cooper is former president and chief operating officer of Adelphia Communications.
Leopard, a marketing communications agency in Broomfield, promoted Tony Perret to account manager and Shelly Nissen as service delivery specialist. New hires include Misty Markley as project manager, Paula Collins as senior copywriter, Terri Jones as senior writer and Andrea Spikes as copywriter.
BANKING, FINANCE
Pat Walton was named vice president and managing officer of the 2333 Main St., Longmont branch of Heritage Bank.
Monica M. Baldwin, a financial advisor at the 401 Main St., Longmont office of Raymond James Financial Services Inc. was named to the firm's 2007 Executive Council.
EDUCATION
Three University of Colorado at Boulder faculty members were elected fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science for 2006. They are Professor Kristi Anseth of the chemical and biological engineering department; Professor Daniel Baker, director of the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics; and Deborah Jin, a fellow of the National Institute of Standards and Technology and adjoint professor in CU-Boulder's physics department.
Michael Warden was named associate vice chancellor for strategic communications for the University of Colorado at Boulder effective Jan. 1.
HIGH TECH
Norman Hilgendorf was named president of the SMDI segment of Sirenza Microdevices Inc., a microelectronics company based in Broomfield.
Robert (Bobby) Kocol was named to the board of directors for COPAN Systems, a data-storage firm based in Longmont.
LAW
Colorado U.S. Attorney William J. Leone joined the Denver office of Faegre & Benson LLP as a partner.
Paul E. Gross and Wayne O. Stacy have become partners of Cooley Godward Kronish LLP in its Broomfield office.
MANUFACTURING
Harrald Kroeker joined Dean Foods Co. as senior vice president and chief operating officer of its dairy group, which includes Boulder-based subsidiary WhiteWave Foods. He will work from Dallas.
NONPROFIT
Hopi Mondale was named special sections manager for Micro Business Development, a Denver-based organization offering microcredit loans. The organization serves the Front Range area.
Ted Broers, a Longmont executive, became an associate with the Institute for Independent Business, a United Kingdom-based organization offering advice to business owners.
REAL ESTATE
Residential real estate brokerage Keller Williams Front Range Properties of Boulder added seven new agents. John Buckley, Rebecca Holley, Alison Kemperle, Colleen McBeth, Joe Osborne, Dan Richelson and Severine Vuillermoz joined the team.

Jeffrey Crump was named vice president of merchandising for Corporate Express Canada. Corporate Express Inc., a Buhrmann company, distributes office supplies and is based in Broomfield.

Suzanne M. De Lucia CBI, president of Front Range Business Inc. in Boulder, was elected secretary of the board of directors of the International Business Brokers Association, the largest international association of business brokers and mergers and acquisitions professionals.
Ray Weyerman was appointed agricultural sales manager at Wagner Equipment Co., the Caterpillar/Challenger dealer for Colorado, New Mexico and far west Texas. He will work from Windsor.
